Joseph Grynbaum, P.E.
International Mediator, Professional Engineer (USA), Author
Career:
Joseph specializes in mediating complex multi-party commercial disputes with a focus on claims resolution of large engineering and construction projects. His personal mantra is “An ounce of mediation is worth a pound of arbitration and a ton of litigation”.
With over 35 years of international know-how, Joseph employs his professional mechanical engineer experience and trained mediator skills to open up channels of communication between disputing parties often resulting in creative opportunities for settlement.
Joseph was educated in Australia and has been living and working in the U.S. since 1980. He has assisted many international clients doing business in countries including U.S., Canada, Russia, South Africa, Philippines, Pakistan, Jamaica, Guatemala and Honduras.
In addition to providing conflict avoidance and resolution services, Joseph also offers technical and expert witness consulting services for project owners, developers, lenders, contractors and attorney firms.
Joseph believes that mediation is aimed at solving a problem rather than rendering a decision. It promotes the continuation of the work, enables the development of future business if desirable, and often mends a strained business relationship.
