Tess is a highly experienced and effective organisational psychologist who specialises in working with individuals, groups and leadership teams. Tess is passionate about assisting leaders and organisations in designing and executing programs that have high impact at the individual and organisational level. She has worked in national and international organisations in a variety of industry sectors.
Tess designs and implements interventions for future and current leaders, to build skills, shift mind-sets, to ensure successful and sustainable change in behaviours. Achieving sustained improvement in performance requires that people in organisations, move beyond structures, processes, and systems to address individual and collective behaviour— leaders have an important role in this: They must provide conscious cues about what really matters for everyone in the organisation to emulate. Tess helps leaders make the change, role model the change, openly engage others, and highlight successes.
Tess is an experienced coach with 1500 logged coaching hours, 100 hours of experience debriefing The Leadership Circle (TLC) 360 Profile and debriefed well over 400 Life Style Inventories (LSI), facilitated and co designed over 100 leadership workshops, designed and facilitated internal train the trainer processes for coaching and teaching, conducted 100’s of interviews and collated findings to produce insightful leadership and culture reports and spent many hours mentoring and developing other consultants.

Current Experience
- Culture alignment by focusing on leadership development: Organisation wanted their leaders to create a shift in behaviours and mindsets to achieve their cultural aspiration of ‘one’ organization. Pre-Workshop assessment and debriefing, workshops and post-workshop implementation coaching to the organization’s top 150 senior leaders.
- Leadership development: Develop current and future leaders into “conscious leaders”, leaders who ‘walk the talk’ of the organisations aspirations, values and behaviours, leaders who are role mode the culture and leaders who champion the sustainability of the business model. Eleven executive members and thirty Execution officers that went through a 5 day intensive offsite, 360 degree feedback process and 5 individual coaching sessions to embed learnings.
- Executive Coaching: Application coaching sessions with Chief Executives and Top Teams to support development of the mindsets and behaviours that underpin exceptional performance, resilience and flexibility for the future challenges.
- Team Alignment: Developing and facilitating team sessions to build capacity for internal and external stakeholder engagement. Creating team environments that are aligned, engaged and dealing with the real issues.
- Culture Assessment and Plan development: Analysing current culture using variety of measuring tools (both qualitative and quantitative) to report writing on current culture. Setting of culture targets with Executive team and development of change plan to meet future state.
